A short, honest summary of what this site collects, what it doesn't, and your rights.
Short version. This is a static personal website. It does not ask for your name, email, or phone number. It does not have logins, forms, or accounts. It does not run advertising trackers. The only data it touches is functional — what's needed to deliver the page and remember your theme & language choice.

The site at harshaldasani.pages.dev is operated personally by Harshal Dasani, based in India. Acting as the data fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), the author is responsible for this policy.

3. What the site does NOT collect
- No name, email, phone number, or address.
- No account, login, or password.
- No contact forms or sign-ups.
- No advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or behavioural profiles.
- No Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar third-party analytics scripts.
- No payment information.
- No location data beyond the country-level IP geolocation logged by the host.
4. Cookies & local storage
The site itself does not set any tracking cookies. It uses your browser's localStorage for two preferences only: theme (light/dark) and language (en/hi). These never leave your device.
Your browser may receive functional cookies from the hosting provider (Cloudflare) needed to deliver the site — for example, a security cookie to detect bots. These are first-party in nature and described in Cloudflare's Cookie Policy.

6. Server logs
The hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) logs requests for operational, security, and aggregate-analytics purposes. The author does not maintain a separate logging or analytics layer on top of Cloudflare's defaults. No personally identifiable user profile is constructed.

The site is not directed at children under 18. No personal data is knowingly collected from minors.
8. Your rights
Because this site does not store any personal data about you, most data-subject rights are met by design. However, where you are a data principal under the DPDP Act, 2023, the GDPR, or comparable laws, you may:
